West Indian Tobacco - Environmental, Social, and Governance
We accept that we produce and market a controversial product. Therefore, we believe it is essential that we do so responsibly.
At WITCO, we prioritize Environmental, Social, and Governance factors as fundamental pillars of our business strategy, recognizing that our commitment to sustainable practices not only enhances our reputation but also drives long-term value. By integrating ESG principles into our operations, we ensure that we minimize our environmental impact, foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, uphold ethical governance standards and engage our community as a directive. This approach not only aligns with the values of our stakeholders and consumers but also positions us as a responsible leader in our industry. We believe that prioritizing ESG is essential for building trust, mitigating risks, and seizing new opportunities, ultimately contributing to the overall success and resilience of WITCO.
Our flagship ESG initiative is our six decade partnership with the Desperadoes Steel Orchestra, 12 time Panorama Champions. This relationship has been composed through immense support, conviction and credence. Being able to inspire the community and extend the essence not only of local talent but also our proud culture has been extraordinary and characteristics we treasure and venerate at WITCO.
