Gustavo Gonzalez currently serves as Operations Director - Vapour at British American Tobacco (BAT), based in London, United Kingdom. With over two decades of experience at BAT, Gustavo has held a variety of strategic and operational leadership roles spanning multiple regions, including the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

Throughout his career, Gustavo has been instrumental in driving business development, operational excellence, and innovation across the organization. As Global New Product Development Programme Manager - Vapour, he successfully led the launch of over 120 new product initiatives across diverse markets, demonstrating his expertise in portfolio management, cross-functional collaboration, and large-scale program execution.

His earlier roles include serving as Regional Head of New Product Introduction for the Americas and Sub-Saharan Africa, Head of Manufacturing in South Africa, and Operations Business Development Manager in Mexico, where he managed manufacturing strategies and teams exceeding 350 professionals. Gustavo’s extensive experience also encompasses supply chain management, customer relationship management, and production leadership, reflecting his strong foundation in end-to-end operations management.

A graduate of Tecnológico de Monterrey, Gustavo combines his technical acumen with a deep understanding of global operations and strategic growth. His leadership is characterized by innovation, cultural agility, and a commitment to excellence in delivering next-generation solutions for the vapour and nicotine product segments.
